ReadyBoard Software Downloads

This web page provides firmware and software related to the Embed Inc ReadyBoard series of PIC prototyping boards. 

Be sure to read the legal notice before using any software found on this web site. 

Read the INSTALLATION DIRECTIONS before attempting to install a software release.  This is particularly important for Windows 9x users.  Failure to follow the directions may result in system corruption and loss of data. 

Software and firmware unique to the ReadyBoard development boards will be in the QPROT source directory after installation. 

ReadyBoard development software/firmware

This release contains software/firmware with source code and build scripts.  It includes:

• The PIC development environment as described at www.embedinc.com/pic.  There is no need to download and install the PIC development environment separately. 

• Source code for the QPWR firmware.  This firmware runs on the PIC 10F204 controlling the switching power supply of the ReadyBoard-01.  Build with the script BUILD_QPROT_EXPIC after the PIC development environment is set up.  The documentation file for this firmware is FW_QPROT. 

The build scripts do not work on Windows 9x systems.
